In other words, it is concluded from the above that no one had ever heard the name of Jehovah before, and that this was the first time it had ever been spoken. According to this theory, none of the servants of God spoken of in Genesis had ever heard of the name of Jehovah. Yet when we read the book of Genesis we do find that God’s name appears there many times. Eve evidently spoke it. (Genesis 4:1) Noah spoke it. (Genesis 9:26) Abram (Abraham) spoke it.
